What this directory is
Perth Air Guide is an independent directory covering 342 air conditioning contractor businesses across the Perth metropolitan area. It exists for homeowners, landlords, property managers and builders who need to find an installer, servicer or repair outfit without wading through pages of search results that mix paid ads with businesses that may not even cover their suburb.
Each listing brings together public business information (licensing details, service areas, hours, contact details) with a synthesis of recent Google reviews. We do not copy or republish review text. Instead we summarise what reviewers are consistently saying, whether that’s about callback times, split-system installs, or how a job was cleaned up afterward, and we link straight through to the business’s Google listing so you can read the original reviews yourself.
How rankings are worked out
Every ranking on this site comes from a published rubric applied consistently to the data we collect. Nothing about a business’s placement is negotiable, guessed at, or adjusted by hand. If you want the full breakdown of what’s measured and how it’s weighted, see our /methodology/ page.
A business can contact us to correct factual details, a wrong phone number, an outdated service area, an ABN typo. What a business cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or where it sits in the ranking. That separation is what keeps the list usable: the facts can be fixed, but the assessment stays independent of who’s asking.
Sponsorship, clearly marked
Some pages carry sponsored placements. These are always labelled “Sponsored”, displayed in their own section separate from the earned rankings, and never blended into the ranked list itself. Paying for a sponsored spot does not move a business up the rankings, and not paying doesn’t move it down.
Where enquiries go
Perth Air Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource, and it also generates enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with someone for a job, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for that introduction. Those referral arrangements have no bearing on scores or earned rankings; the quote page spells out this arrangement in full before you submit anything.
